To further develop the PRIMAS online test equipment management portal, Testo needed a powerful and future-proof IT and data integration platform. The goal was to flexibly integrate a wide range of heterogeneous back-end systems—including SAP and, in the future, SAP —and provide customers with a fully digital, high-performance self-service solution. At the same time, Testo had high requirements for scalability, maintainability, and technological openness in order to efficiently implement future changes in the IT landscape.
With X4 BPMS, Testo implemented a central integration and orchestration platform that serves as a technological data hub between the PRIMAS customer portal and the connected line-of-business and back-end systems.
Using standardized services, data models, and processes, X4 separates the front end from the connected systems, allowing changes to be made to the back end without affecting the portal or business processes.
SAP , with SAP planned for the future, as well as a SharePoint-based DMS seamlessly integrated via X4 adapters. X4 also handles the monitoring, control, and oversight of the entire system landscape and ensures high-availability operations.
With X4 BPMS, Testo has a powerful platform that centrally integrates IT systems, automates processes, and ensures the long-term sustainability of digital test equipment management. The solution provides a stable foundation for day-to-day operations and the SAP, enabling Testo to efficiently develop digital services.
