Google reCAPTCHA
We use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data entry on this website (e.g., in a contact form) is performed by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. reCAPTCHA evaluates various information for the analysis (e.g., IP address, length of time the website visitor stays on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is taking place.
The storage and analysis of data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and spam. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
For more information about Google reCAPTCHA, please refer to Google's privacy policy and terms of service at the following links: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=de.
CleverReach
This website uses CleverReach to send newsletters. The provider is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, Germany. CleverReach is a service that can be used to organize and analyze newsletter mailings. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g., email address) is stored on CleverReach's servers in Germany or Ireland.
Our newsletters sent via CleverReach enable us to analyze the behavior of newsletter recipients. Among other things, we can analyze how many recipients opened the newsletter and how often each link in the newsletter was clicked. With the help of conversion tracking, we can also analyze whether a predefined action (e.g., purchase of a product on our website) took place after clicking on the link in the newsletter. For more information on data analysis by CleverReach newsletters, please visit:https://www.cleverreach.com/de/funktionen/reporting-und-tracking/.
Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.
If you do not want CleverReach to analyze your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this purpose in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.
The data you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from both our servers and the servers of CleverReach after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g., email addresses for the member area) remains unaffected by this.
For more information, please refer to CleverReach's privacy policy at: https://www.cleverreach.com/de/datenschutz/.
Conclusion of a contract for commissioned data processing
We have concluded a contract with CleverReach for commissioned data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using CleverReach.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption.
You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in the address line of your browser. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion, and correction
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, and, if applicable, a right to correct, block, or delete this data.
If you have any questions about this or other issues relating to personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
You can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice. The right to restrict processing applies in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we will generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification process, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of its deletion.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may—apart from its storage—only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
Objection to advertising emails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the legal notice obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators of the website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example via spam emails.

Applications
We process applicant data solely for the purpose of and within the scope of the application process in accordance with legal requirements. The processing of applicant data is carried out to fulfill our (pre)contractual obligations within the scope of the application process in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, insofar as data processing becomes necessary for us, e.g., in the context of legal proceedings (in Germany, § 26 BDSG also applies).
The application process requires applicants to provide us with their application data. The necessary application data is marked if we offer an online form, otherwise it is derived from the job descriptions and generally includes personal details, postal and contact addresses, and the documents relating to the application, such as cover letter, resume, and references. In addition, applicants can voluntarily provide us with additional information.
By submitting their application to us, applicants consent to the processing of their data for the purposes of the application process in accordance with the manner and scope set out in this privacy policy.
If special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 (1) GDPR are voluntarily provided during the application process, their processing is additionally carried out in accordance with Art. 9 (2) lit. b GDPR (e.g., health data, such as severely disabled status or ethnic origin). If special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 (1) GDPR are requested from applicants as part of the application process, their processing shall also be carried out in accordance with Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR (e.g., health data if this is necessary for the performance of the job).
If available, applicants can submit their applications to us using an online form on our website. The data is transmitted to us in encrypted form using state-of-the-art technology.
Applicants can also send us their applications by email. However, please note that emails are not encrypted and applicants must ensure that their emails are encrypted themselves. We therefore cannot accept any responsibility for the transmission of the application between the sender and our server and therefore recommend using an online form or sending the application by post. Instead of applying via the online form and email, applicants still have the option of sending us their application by post.
The data provided by applicants may be further processed by us for the purposes of the employment relationship in the event of a successful application. Otherwise, if the application for a job vacancy is unsuccessful, the applicants' data will be deleted. Applicants' data will also be deleted if an application is withdrawn, which applicants are entitled to do at any time.
Subject to a justified revocation by the applicant, the data will be deleted after a period of six months so that we can answer any follow-up questions regarding the application and fulfill our obligations to provide evidence under the Equal Treatment Act. Invoices for any travel expense reimbursements will be archived in accordance with tax regulations.
Talent pool
As part of the application process, we offer applicants the opportunity to be included in our "talent pool" for a period of two years on the basis of consent within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (a) and Art. 7 GDPR.
The application documents in the talent pool will only be processed in connection with future job postings and employee searches and will be destroyed at the latest after the deadline has expired. Applicants are informed that their consent to be included in the talent pool is voluntary, has no influence on the current application process, and that they can revoke this consent at any time for the future and declare their objection within the meaning of Art. 21 GDPR.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). The use includes the "Universal Analytics" operating mode. This makes it possible to assign data, sessions, and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus analyze a user's activities across devices.
Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The info generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. These purposes also constitute our legitimate interest in data processing. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Section 15 (3) TMG and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g., user ID) or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 14 months. Data that has reached its retention period is automatically deleted once a month. For more information on terms of use and data protection, please visithttps://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

LinkedIn Insight Day
This website uses LinkedIn's Insight Tag. This service is provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Data processing by LinkedIn Insight Tag
With the help of LinkedIn Insight Tags, we receive information about visitors to our website. If a website visitor is registered with LinkedIn, we can analyze key professional data (e.g., career level, company size, country, location, industry, and job title) of our website visitors and thus better tailor our site to the respective target groups. Furthermore, with the help of LinkedIn Insight Tags, we can measure whether visitors to our websites make a purchase or perform another action (conversion measurement). Conversion measurement can also be carried out across devices (e.g., from PC to tablet). LinkedIn Insight Tag also offers a retargeting function that allows us to display targeted advertising to visitors to our website outside of the website, whereby, according to LinkedIn, the advertising recipient is not identified.
LinkedIn itself also collects log files (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser properties, and time of access). The IP addresses are shortened or (if they are used to reach LinkedIn members across devices) hashed (pseudonymized). The direct identifiers of LinkedIn members are deleted by LinkedIn after seven days. The remaining pseudonymized data is then deleted within 180 days.
As the website operator, we cannot assign the data collected by LinkedIn to specific individuals. LinkedIn will store the personal data collected from website visitors on its servers in the USA and use it for its own advertising purposes. For details, please refer to LinkedIn's privacy policy athttps://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig.
Legal basis
The use of LinkedIn Insight is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including social media. If corresponding consent has been requested (e.g., consent to the storage of cookies), processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here:https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/dpaandhttps://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/eu-sccs.
Objection to the use of LinkedIn Insight Tag
Opt out of LinkedIn's analysis of usage behavior and targeted advertising at the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
Furthermore, LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings. To prevent LinkedIn from linking data collected on our website to your LinkedIn account, you must log out of your LinkedIn account before visiting our website.
Order processing
We have concluded a contract for order processing (AVV) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that the provider only processes the personal data of our website visitors in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Google Web Fonts
We use Google Fonts from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on our website.
