Setting new standards for BiPRO services

Today, sales processes must be handled efficiently and digitally – ideally in compliance with the standards of the Industry Institute for Process Optimization (BiPRO e. V.). However, it is not always possible to implement these standards economically with a company’s own brokerage systems. This is why Dialog offers an extranet that sales partners can use via their web browser without having to invest in their own infrastructure.

Convenient data exchange

For communication with sales partners, the systems involved should be networked across company boundaries. Effective security measures and secure communication channels are necessary to prevent unauthorized access. It should be possible to define the type of communication individually for each sales partner: Either data and documents are exchanged automatically via BiPRO-compliant interfaces or brokers access the data and documents directly via the convenient extranet.

In addition, administrators will be able to view and manage information about the connected brokers and agents and centrally monitor and administer the services provided.

Managing data efficiently

In the IT infrastructure of Dialog Lebensversicherungs-AG, an X4 BPMS instance provides user data and data and documents from internal systems as structured data. The X4 BiPRO Server serves as a communication gateway between the X4 BPMS inside the corporate firewall and the extranet or BiPRO interface outside. It provides BiPRO-compliant services within the shortest possible time in order to transfer documents and data and to authenticate sales partners electronically.

With the additional components of the X4 BiPRO Server X4 BiPRO Manager and X4 BiPRO Monitor, all connected brokers and BiPRO services can be efficiently managed and monitored. This enables efficient fault analysis in the event of a malfunction and ensures maximum transparency.

In the extranet, the inbox portal, broker mail is efficiently managed and data deliveries can be viewed, attachments or GDV and OMDS data records can be downloaded and processes can be edited. In case of status changes, clerks are automatically informed by e-mail.

Communicate securely via the hybrid cloud

The X4 BPMS in SoftProject’s own data center provides data via a secure HTTPS connection. The X4 BiPRO Server in the SoftProject data center communicates to the outside world and provides a security token service that sales partners can use to authenticate themselves in a BiPRO-compliant manner (VDG ticket, user name and password, or X.509 certificate).

X4 BiPRO Manager is used to efficiently manage all brokers and BiPRO services. Dialog employees can define the desired communication channel – via BiPRO service, extranet or mail – for each sales partner.

In the X4 BiPRO Monitor, among other things, the status of the BiPRO services and the BiPRO standards and response times used can be viewed in order to efficiently analyze errors in the event of a fault.

The mailbox portal has been implemented with X4 Activities and enables efficient management of makler mail. In the access-protected web portal, data deliveries can be viewed, attachments or GDV and OMDS data sets can be downloaded, and processes can be edited.
