Herten, October 28, 2025 – PROSOZ Herten GmbH (Prosoz), a software development and consulting company for municipalities, cities, and districts, will in future use the X4 BPMS low-code platform from SoftProject as its central solution for Integration process automation. The aim is to network the multitude of internal IT systems more efficiently, optimize data exchange, and thus drive forward the digital transformation in the company in a sustainable manner.
X4 BPMS as a strategic ESB or Middleware solution for IT interfaces
The X4 BPMS will be established at Prosoz as Middleware strategic ESB and Middleware in the future. It enables data and processes to be exchanged quickly, flexibly, and securely between internal systems such as USU, Vemas, d.velop, CAS genesisWorld, Datev, Jira, Confluence, and Loga. This modernizes existing interfaces and enables new integrations to be implemented more quickly and with significantly less effort. Thanks to the low-code approach of the X4 platform, interfaces are no longer programmed but simply modeled using a graphical interface.
Prosoz can draw on an extensive library of over 200 ready-made X4 BPMS adapters for implementation. These enable direct and fast connection to a wide variety of systems, applications, and protocols—without the need for complex custom development.
Operation on modern Docker infrastructure
The X4 BPMS is operated at Prosoz in a Docker-based infrastructure. This container architecture offers users maximum flexibility, scalability, and future-proofing. New services and interfaces can thus be provided quickly and dynamically expanded as needed.
Empowerment of Prosoz users
A key goal of the implementation is to enable Prosoz employees to independently Integration implement new projects in the future. The low-code approach of X4 BPMS makes it much easier to learn how to use the platform and enables teams to implement interfaces and processes independently without in-depth programming knowledge. This shortens time-to-market, increases flexibility, and promotes the company's independence in future digitization projects.
"With X4 BPMS, we are laying the foundation for a modern, scalable, and future-proof IT architecture based on SoftProject central ESB and middleware platform X4 BPMS. This benefits us as a whole company," explains Kathrin Hammerlage, Senior Application Manager at Prosoz.
