Together with bill-X GmbH, SoftProject will present its low-code platform X4 BPMS at the Hannover Messe in Hall 5 Booth D16. “We have waited a long time to be able to meet interested parties and customers in person again and are already looking forward to Hannover Messe 2022 and the joint appearance with our partner bill-X,” says Markus Notheis, responsible for business development at SoftProject GmbH. bill-X is an innovative and highly specialized manufacturer of e.g. billing systems and development software in the field of machine and device control.

SoftProject auf der Hannover Messe 2022

Bill-X combines IT expertise with a strong digital ecosystem

With over 20 years of experience as a service provider and software manufacturer for service accounting, bill-X draws on in-depth expertise in the field of digitization. The software solutions from bill-X are characterized by maximum scalability, high reliability and the wide range of application options. The combination of the ActiveDB digital ecosystem with all conceivable billing scenarios opens up new digital business areas for bill-X’s partners and customers.

A strong team: ActiveDB and the low-code platform X4 BPMS

ActiveDB is used to manage objects, processes and actions that are relevant for a company. These include production automation, energy management, master data management, smart factory or loT. The digitization experts from SoftProject will show how ActiveDB can be quickly and easily integrated into any IT system landscape with X4 BPMS in a live demo directly at the bill-X booth. In the showcase, the X4 BPMS serves as the ActiveDB’s process and low-code development platform. The joint solution from bill-X and SoftProject, with which even complex process operations can be clearly mapped and monitored, will soon be launched at a large German chemical company.

Thanks to X4 BPMS, processes run smoothly and efficiently

Here, X4 BPMS supports and simplifies work on machines by specifying process sequences and thus efficiently controlling tasks. One example is digital twins of machine parks created via ActiveDB for which employees must be trained. The processes modeled with X4 BPMS specify the sequential steps of the virtual trainings, which are carried out with Microsoft HoloLens, for example, and thus guarantee training success. This means that new training scenarios can be designed easily and flexibly at any time and introduced without time-consuming programming.

The X4 BPMS: One platform for all digitization tasks

In addition, interested trade fair visitors will learn everything about the other fields of application of the X4 BPMS as a digitization and IoT platform and which concrete advantages industrial and also energy supply companies have with the use of the low-code digitization platform: With X4 BPMS, companies can easily digitize production, quickly network heterogeneous machine parks and system landscapes, and react agilely to market needs. The application is simplified by industrial track-and-trace via a digital production platform, portal solutions and predictive maintenance applications.

Key to success: speed, simplicity and flexibility

The holistic approach of the low-code platform is based on tools for process digitization, networking and workflow-based web applications that work together seamlessly. Processes can be quickly automated and adapted, and measures – for example, to comply with compliance guidelines – can be easily designed and monitored. The X4 BPMS can be deployed on almost any target platform: on the Raspberry Pi, in a Docker container or in complex server clusters, on-premises or as a container as a service (CaaS) in any hybrid cloud scenarios. More than 300 customers are already successfully using X4 BPMS for their digital transformation.

Hannover Messe will take place on-site and virtually from May 30 to June 2, 2022: https://www.hannovermesse.de
