On March 25, 2021, the second surveillance audit for ISO/IEC 27001 took place at SoftProject GmbH. The independent accreditation organization TÜV AUSTRIA Deutschland GmbH certified secure data transmission, processing and storage for the digitization specialist from Ettlingen. The in-house hosting service, the guarantee of information security and the operation of customer systems were audited. All requirements and specifications were met without exception.

“The quality and security of our IT systems and business processes, which we provide to our customers from the data center, is our top priority. They must be able to rely on the fact that their data is in safe hands with us,” says Dieter Göbelbecker, Information Security Officer at SoftProject GmbH. In order to make the careful and professional handling of data clear to customers, partners and its own employees, SoftProject GmbH already had its information security management system (ISMS) successfully ISO-certified in 2019. At the same time, the company committed itself to the independent certification organization to be monitored regularly and continuously.

ISO Certification

Standard focuses on confidentiality, integrity and availability of information

In the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) describes how companies avoid IT risks and ensure holistic data protection and information security by setting up, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving their ISMS in accordance with guidelines drawn up by experts. Audits are carried out regularly to ensure that the high standards and measures are maintained by the companies in the long term. A comprehensive and complete recertification, which will take several days, is planned for SoftProject GmbH for the beginning of 2022.
