SoftProject GmbH draws a positive balance at the end of the year: Compared to the previous year, revenues increased by 14 % to around 13 million euros. Digital services from the cloud grew at an above-average rate of 49 %. Another growth driver was the increasing demand for the low-code platform X4 Suite for the digitalization of business processes.

In 2020, the investment ratio in research and development was 12 % of annual sales. SoftProject GmbH thus sees itself in a good position to benefit from the ongoing trend towards digitization in the future. With 115 employees and a planned increase in staff of more than 20 % in 2021, SoftProject GmbH intends to continue to grow organically. The revenue target for 2021 is 17 million euros.

“We would like to thank our customers and partners for their trust. 2020 was an extremely challenging year for all of us. In addition to the great uncertainty and the associated restrictions, we had to break new ground together. Both in the cooperation with our customers, but also among ourselves, we rely on collaborative working. No matter where our employees in Germany, Spain or Slovakia have their center of life, we meet in virtual space,” says Dirk Detmer, spokesman for SoftProject’s management.

“In December 2020 alone, we recorded the highest monthly order intake in the company’s history with three million euros. We are entering the new year with a good order backlog,” says Joachim Beese Managing Director and responsible for sales.
